Team Sky
Brand RefreshKit Design
Bike & Vehicle Design
Team Sky sought a brand refresh to mark their 10th anniversary and final year. I designed the full Team Sky range, including rider and training kits, bikes, supporting vehicles, and the tour bus, while also giving the brand a final makeover to celebrate the team’s success. I designed this project at Antidote. All photography by Russ Ellis.
Jersey
The new jersey brought back Team Sky's signature black aesthetic, complemented by an ocean blue gradient that tied into their Sky Ocean Rescue partnership. The back of the jersey highlighted the iconic blue line, a design element that’s been a staple for the past decade. Rider names were repositioned to the sides, creating a sleek, minimalistic look on the back. I collaborated closely with Castelli, the kit manufacturer, to ensure the colors, logo placement, and material finish aligned perfectly with the original concept.
“The kit is a nice celebration of our tenth year in the peloton – I can see lots of our old designs in the new look. I’m looking forward to pulling it on in the new year.”

“I love the look of the new kit. It’s a classic design and I can’t wait to race in it.”

Bike
The road bike featured a predominantly black design with a subtle ocean blue radial gradient. The gradient transitioned from a deep blue at the center to black at the edges, evoking a sense of movement and fluidity. This design not only complemented the team's branding but also enhanced the bike’s performance-oriented look.
