TYPE DESIGN
June Pro is a modern sans-serif family, available in 10 weights ranging from Thin to Heavy, with true italics and a variable font option. Inspired by the work of Adrian Frutiger, it combines versatility with distinctive features, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
Drawing from my Masters in Type Design, I explored Frutiger's work, including Avenir, Frutiger, and Univers—some of the most legible typefaces ever created. June Pro takes a contemporary approach to these classic designs, resulting in a highly legible typeface that maintains excellent readability across various mediums. It also supports over 220 languages, enhancing its usability and reach.

June Pro’s italics have been designed with an eight-degree angle and subtle stylistic differences to create a clear distinction between the regular and italic fonts. Unlike traditional italics, which are typically angled between 10 and 14 degrees, the eight-degree angle was selected based on research suggesting that steeper angles can compromise legibility. This more restrained slant ensures the italic remains highly readable, even in longer passages of text.
